| Do you find it a challenge finding time to meditate and nurture your spirit?
Have you always wanted to try meditation but don’t know where to start? Here is a really quick, simple but powerful visualization that will have you buzzing with energy. You take a shower everyday to cleanse your physical body right? How about a chakra shower to cleanse your subtle body? This is something quick that you can do in the shower, sitting in a chair or lying down, as it only takes a few minutes. Begin by closing your eyes and spend a few moments breathing slowly in and out. Focus on your breath and allow your body to relax. Focus on the feeling of being connected to the earth through your feet. Imagine a beautiful pure white light slowly swirling around your body down to your feet and up again. Do this 3 times. Beginning at the very top of your head (crown chakra) imagine a violet light flowing through the top of your head and swirling around in a circular motion. Then imagine the violet light swirling in small circles through your entire body down to your feet and up again. Move your focus to your forehead (third eye chakra), imagine indigo light swirling around in a circular motion. Then imagine the indigo light swirling in small circles through your entire body down to your feet and up again. Move your focus to your throat (throat chakra), imagine blue light swirling in a circular motion. Then imagine the blue light swirling in small circles through your entire body down to your feet and up again. Move your focus to your chest (heart chakra), imagine green light swirling in a circular motion. Then imagine the green light swirling in small circles through your entire body down to your feet and up again. Move your focus to your solar plexus (solar plexus chakra), imagine yellow light swirling in a circular motion. Then imagine the yellow light swirling in small circles through your entire body down to your feet and up again. Move your focus to just below your navel (spleen chakra), imagine orange light swirling in a circular motion. Then imagine the orange light swirling in small circles through your entire body down to your feet and up again. Move your focus to your pelvic area (root chakra), imagine red light swirling in a circular motion. Then imagine the red light swirling in small circles through your entire body down to your feet and up again. Bring your focus back to your physical body and gently open your eyes.
Do this daily and you will feel more peaceful and balanced. People will respond positively toward you and you will be better able to handle whatever life brings your way. Until next week, take care of you! Kellie |
