here's a detox secret for you.
January 16, 2006
Hi

Happy New Year! Hope you took some time to recharge and set some clear intentions for 2006.

If you did, congratulations! If not, it's not too late.

Did you make a promise to yourself to get healthier this year? Read on... I have a secret to tell you...

I don't know how much you know about the lymphatic system, but all you really need to know is that it gets rid of waste and toxins from your body.

If it becomes sluggish, our bodies can become like an unflushed toilet!

The reasons it might work inefficiently are generally lifestyle related eg. not enough exercise, poor diet or insufficient water intake.

If you are thinking of improving your diet, consider giving yourself a good internal cleanse first. That way you a working from a clean slate... so to speak.

Of course, always speak to your doctor before undertaking a detox program.

There are many ways to detox. The best approach is to do a few things in combination with each other. Here are a few suggestions;

Increase your exercise, a brisk daily walk is ideal.

Rebound, the movement of jumping on a rebounder stimulates the lymphatic system.

Drink more water, at least 8 glasses of plain water a day.

Increase your intake of raw vegetables and fruits, have a salad with each meal. Reduce bread, pasta and white rice. If you want to do a full detox, buy or borrow a good book with a plan to follow. There are plenty out there. Check Amazon.

Dry brushing, with a soft bristled brush, spend 5 minutes before your shower brushing in small circular movements from your feet upwards.

Do Contrast Hydros, this is the secret I was telling you about! A simple, little known way to cleanse, energize and restore youthfulness to your body. Go to Contrast Baths for the simple steps.

Don't underestimate the power of these simple changes. A healthy lymphatic system is the way to the body you want and the energy you're seeking.

Be Blissed!
