are you living simply?
May 17, 2006
Hi

How are you?

Wow! It has been a hectic ride these past few months. We are renovating and extending! On top of that the property is 150kms away from where we are currently living. Needless to say it is adding to the logistics of the project.

It will be wonderful once we move in! In the meantime though, time is stretched to the limit and all but the most essential and basic things have been cut from my daily life.

In the past, skin care and health would be among the first things I neglected in similar situations. I happily realized the other day that this time I have not neglected those areas and I put it down to having very simple routines.

One of my most simple indulgences is to massage rosehip oil into my face before going to bed. I cleanse and then put on the rosehip oil. It has the most nourishing effect on my skin.

Rosehip oil is very rich in vitamin C. It is also high in both linoleic and linolenic fatty acids which are believed to be the reason behind its ability to encourage repair and regeneration of skin tissue. Rosehip is a fine oil so it feels wonderful on your face, not too heavy. It is great for wrinkled and dry skins and even scarring, age spots, eczema and acne.

I have found it to be very reasonably priced as well. My favorite brand is Trilogy as it is organic and has a rich orange color to it. Just a few drops will cover your entire face and throat.

The simplest things in life are the best! Hopefully by the next ezine I will be in the new place and sharing with you how much extra time I have on my hands!! Here’s hoping.

With love

Kellie
